arent upset

ARENT UPSET

why arent we all upset over this sequestering thing
i watch both sides talk on tv and in interviews and i just
want to throw up

how can we let them get by with all this stuff
i was watching news the other day and apparently
washington is a ghost town

where did all our congressman go
well i figured it out
they all are back home this weekend before the stuff
hits the fan and everyone finds out how they personally
are going to get hit

i think we all are going to be impacted
near here about 25 miles is the biggest military base in the world
i can remember after the first irag war when all the troops and
equipment went overseas
then cut backs occurred
the area became a ghost town
and the economy around the area was severely affected
many businesses closed
houses were foreclosed
people lost jobs
even doctors felt it as their military patients were gone

now they are looking at furloughs and firings
heck they wont even have the money to train
im sure my dogs will like that as the big booms from
the big guns bother them

we in the united states should be all ticked off at our
congressman
republican democrat or independent

ask them to go back to washington
govern
compromise and
take care of us

remember we all have pencils to vote with
and ways to sequester you

  1. Lots of people don’t know they can write their representatives in Washington to express their thought and feelings on issues before Congress. I recently shot off an email to mine expressing my displeasure with their performance. I explained that they were sent to Washington to do a job their constituents had sent them there to do and have failed. I said they were completely out of touch with the real world and needed to wake up, stop acting like a bunch of school kids fighting over who got the ball first. I got an automated reply and expect a more detailed reply in a few days like it normally takes.
