the weekend that was with my relatives they

THE WEEKEND THAT WAS 
my relatives they spent the long weekend with us(friday to sunday)
my nephew he who -again he did not fall into the rainwater tank- is their son
my relatives they were visiting out of state
my relatives they have several friends that live in this area

my relatives they were fun to be with this weekend
my relatives they dont work off a schedule when they travel
(examples are of the many times they have almost missed their
airplane flights)
if you know them then you know how it is

work from  a list everyday of what am going to do and have
things planned out if am traveling
not my relatives they are just the opposites

am glad am taking them to the airport and not my relatives they
taking me to the airport
been there done that before

my relatives they have such good stories of their attempts to
get to the airport on time
would take up too much blog space to tell them all

my relatives they are not allowed to take us to the airport
when we visit only my motherinlaw she is allowed to take us
or my oldest son he does it

my relatives they are an adventure to spend time with
do not know what the day will develop into

friday my relatives they and my wife she was touring the city
near us when they saw the historical swimming area in the city
my relatives they just happened to have swim suits and swam for a
long time in the creek swim area (it is a beautiful area    is fed by
flowing water all year round-actually have lived in this area for 20 years
and had never seen it-was worth the visit)  thanks guys

my relatives they just happened to have several friends that were here
that weekend and was able to meet up with them

my relatives they and us just chilled out at home on saturday
watched bits of the longhorn game (couldnt take all of it)
my relatives they and my wife she went to one of the nearby
bbq restaurants -rated as one of best in state - and we all stayed home
that day       was very relaxing

my relatives they have appreciation of solar power, green living,
recycling, organic gardening, raising backyard chickens
so share common things with them

my relatives they flew back on sunday
they made their flight on time
made sure of that

whats happening in the clinic, why do they disappear, c25k

WHATS HAPPENING IN THE CLINIC
this is what happening in the clinic this week
we finally are seeing first cases of the flu this year
so it is here already just not in big numbers
symptoms are headache, fever, sorethroat, cough,
body aches, sometimes nausea vomiting diarrhea

would get your flu shot especially if you are a high risk patient

once school started started to see a lot of strep throat
symptoms are fever headache sorethroat  sometimes
nausea vomiting diarrrhea
now is easily diagnosed with a quickie strep test

mold ragweed fall elm mold allergy counts are high
seeing a lot of itchy eyes nasal congestion cough
some people can manage the symptoms with once a day
nondrowsy antihistamines such as loratidine or cetirizine
there are also prescription medications to use to control the symptoms

upper respiratory illness not flu is here with symptoms similar to
the flu-fever headache sorethroat cough
this usually clears without prescription medications

are seeing the tail end of a gastroenteritis illness(no pun intended)
symptoms are nausea vomiting diarrhea fever  
usually resolves with just fluids and limited diet

WHY DO THEY DISAPPEAR
why do they disappear those ink pens
use a gel ink pen    have to use black     buy them by the box
loose them by the box also      where do they go
sometimes they just suddenly reappear  
know they have ruined some of my shirts and pants and
some of my wife shes clothes     maybe maybe theres the answer

my c25k niece just finished the third week of the couch to 5 k prep
no foot pain      but she hurts every where else    welcome to old age
hahahahahahah      keep up the progress


race for the cure is happening this month through out the us
several people reading this blog are involved in several states
support them as they race walk for the cure
my nephews wife she is almost to her goal
(correction now she is at goal-congratulations)

ou vs longhorns    am worried about the horns today
am not worried about cowboys this weekend
they dont play

recycle newspaper, why do they

WAYS TO RECYCLE NEWSPAPER

our newspaper is already printed on recycled paper 

so if we recycle our newspaper then we are recycling 

recycled paper

try not to send our used newspapers to the trash heap

try to read them first then 

use them to lay on top of area where will be a garden bed or flower bed 

put down ten layers of newspapers and place good garden soil on top 

these will keep the grass  weeds  and seeds from growing up in the garden

over time the newspapers will breakdown and help improve the soil

also worms love them 

any time can attract worms to the soil then the soil is improved

worm poop is the best fertilizer

use them in our compost pile 

either just throw them on to the pile and the chickens 

overtime will shred them to pieces or we preshred them 

-the chickens really like that- and will work the paper into the compost  

the paper is  gradually broken down into compost 

the newspaper is also used as a mulch over our garden bed

is laid on top of soil and lightly covered with straw or leaves

the newspaper keeps the soil cool and moist 

the worms come to the surface and eat up the newspaper

and produce worm poop again for the garden 

in the garden if have an area that is not going to be used for awhile

will work in compost  add molasses  then will add several layers of 

newspapers on top then will cover with thick layer of leaves or straw

the worms will come to the top of the soil and will eat most of the 

newspapers     

the soil is well aerated from the worms and is well fertilized

with the worm poop 

the newspaper is used as kindling to start our wood burning stove 

in the winter time

take 5 sheets and roll them up then tie them in a knot 

will use 5-10 of these with some pflat wood to start the 

fire in the stove    works great 

the newspapers are recycled to my wife shes school if we have 

any left over      they recycle paper there 

WHY DO THEY

why do they faint those men 

am always having men faint in the office 

women rarely faint in the office

men especially faint when they get blood drawn or get a shot 

men sometimes will faint if you do a skin biopsy on them 

they always wait after you are finished and then when they try to get 

up to go home

they go boop to the floor 

and gosh dont ever talk to them about a vasectomy 

have had a lot get woosy and pale just talking about 

that procedure 

good thing they dont have babies huh
