i am a family physician who was diagnosed with
early mild cognitive impairment(mci) amnestic type on december 21, 2010
this is a precursor to alzheimers disease
because of this diagnosis i have opted to stop practicing medicine
this blog will be about my journey with this disease

i will continue blogging on organic gardening, green living,
solar power, rainwater collection, and healthy living

there 7 days left to the walk to end alzheimers here in austin
our teams are filling up but more are welcome
we could use more donations
even if we stop now it has been successful so far
we hope to build on this for next years team and walk

if you live in oklahoma or texas then
this is rivalry weekend
the big showdown
records and rankings mean nothing
the cotton bowl will be 1/2 burnt orange and
1/2 red
horns vs sooners

young guys vs experience
should be a good game
will be a true test for the horns young players
will be a test to see if sooners are really number one
