basketball madness spells some relief

BASKETBALL MADNESS SPELLS SOME RELIEF

this is my final four mens ncaa basketball bracket for 2021
g is for gonzaga
b is for baylor
h is for houston
tx is for texas

ok i was wrong about texas

i had gonzaga and baylor in the finals
i had gonzaga winning it all

i chose gonzaga since they were undefeated
and
i would like to see an undefeated national champion

had they not have been undefeated i would have chosen baylor

my wife she had the same final four teams
with
baylor winning it all

yes
she is rubbing it in

we also watched a lot of the womens games this year
we didnt do our brackets
but i would have probably picked u conn since they usually win

it was nice to see the womens players and teams to get some recognition

i like to watch womens basketball since it seems to be more of a purer form of basketball
they pass dribble shoot screen play good defense
and
i swear they play smarter basketball than the men do

i liked the story about the arizona womens coach who is breastfeeding her baby
at half time she would pump to keep the milk flowing for he baby
they showed the baby getting fed from a bottle during the game with breast milk
she has no nanny
she i am sure is an inspiration to many women expecially working women

now the men are phenomenal athletes
those short men players you see on tv are really 6ft 2 or 6ft 3
those short women players are really 5ft 7 or 5 ft 8

this year it seemed the players they interviewed seemed so intelligent and motivated
you just know they will be successful in the real world

in my medical career i took care of several high school and college athletes
now i see them years later as coaches teachers doctors lawyers financial advisors business persons mothers and fathers
i could have predicted their success when they were in school

it was nice to just lose ourselves in sports for a few weeks
i even decreased any news watching during this time
so
it was nice to get some relief from all the things that seem to be happening in the world

yes
i think this march madness gave a lot of us some relief
we needed it
right
