this is a precursor to alzheimers disease
because of this diagnosis i have opted to stop practicing medicine
this blog will be about my journey with this disease

Join us for a special screening of
On February 21, the Alzheimer's Association Capital of Texas Chapter and the Alamo Drafthouse are proud to partner for a special screening of "Still Alice," the Oscar-nominated film that has brought awareness of early onset Alzheimer's disease to millions of people worldwide.

The film will be followed by a Q&A with a panel of experts, including:
  • Dr. Ron DeVere, Board Certified Neurologist, Medical Director of the Alzheimer's Disease and Memory Disorders Clinic of Austin.
  • Dr. Dewayne Nash, retired Family Physician diagnosed with Early Mild Cognitive Impairment, Alzheimer's disease educator.
