garden news-a hope garden to plant for all of us

GARDEN NEWS-A HOPE GARDEN FOR ALL OF US

this last few weeks have been bad ones for most americans

yesterday for many of us was an uplifting day
the highlight for me was the poetry by 22 yr old amanda gorman given at the end of the day
just before her were
lady gagas national anthem
then
jalos america the beautiful
then
garth brooks amazing grace

i will admit i cried with each of these presentations
we all needed those 4 presentations

i thought this morning what could i add to the mix from a garden perspective
its so peaceful and calm in our garden when i arrive there early in the morning
its just me and the chickens and the birds and the dew on the ground and the sun on the mountains visible almost looming over our garden
so peaceful
zen like

my wife she sent me this below as she thought i might like it
its so appropriate for these times
so
plant in your spring garden
peas
squash
turnips
lettuce
thyme

plant a garden
one of hope
one of unity
one that makes you smile
one that makes you feel the zen as you enter it

yep
a hope garden is what we all need

pass it on
